Trains and Peanut Butter

First, my mom wants everyone to know that the carpet is always this furry. We have a big white dog and a huge orange cat. The black and white cat doesn't shed, but Aspen and K.C. shed more than a farm of llamas. (that's what my mom says.)

The Santa train likes to race the Starbucks Express and the Narrow Gage Train. They race through the living room, through the hall and then back to the living room. When there is a fire in the fireplace, I pretend they are racing past a forest fire.

Peanut Butter is on the freight train.

  • My carpet is furry, too. I have a big black dog and a little-ish white cat.

These are some wonderful train pictures you have. When I was about your age, my dad used to set up his train set on our tiny kitchen table and we'd play with it all night. We never put it beside the fireplace, but you have given me a fabulous idea. I think my dad would agree.

  • Are those giraffes? Decorated camels? Decked out horses? Are they part of the train? I mean, once you have some huge peanut butter on the train, why not some fancy camels?

  • Hi Madge,

I like your idea about putting the train on a table. My trains aren't really a set. I made them up out of different trains. Thanks for visiting!

    Hi Junniper,

You made me laugh. I put the peanut butter on the train because I thought it was funny too.

    Hi Sleep Goblin,

Those are horses and they are galloping on the train tracks. (The horses were my mom's when she was little. Her aunt brought them back from India for her.)

  • Just stopping by for my train fix....seeing as I`ve been away a while and missed a whole bunch of stuff. Peanut butter here is horrible so I have to make my own. Normally crunchy.

  • They are horses actually ho

Alistair: Peanut butter is not terrible where I live. I'm lucky I guess.

I shall be returning to England at the end of this month, let me know if there's anything train-wise I could send your way.
